Job Description: Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance. Has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. Being a Warehouse Associate operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner and maintains complete paperwork.

Position Summary:
Primary warehouse responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, handling incoming and outgoing freight according to company policies, process daily orders by pulling and packaging parts, shipping with FedEx & UPS and ability to assemble custom products as defined.

The Warehouse Associate reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily hands-on support for all sub departments in our warehouse team, including but not limited to: Value Added Assembly, Shipping, Receiving, Pullers and Pickers
• Package customer orders according to order requests
• Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to optimize work completion
• Provide recommendations on process improvement and assists in implementation
• Rotate and train on each aspect of the warehouse (Receiving, Pulling, Shipping)

Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Fast learner with the willingness to improve
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience highly preferred
• Basic math and computer skills (understanding of Microsoft Suite and warehouse scanning software a must)
• Diligent and meticulous in ensuring accuracy
• High work ethics to meet company policies and guidelines
• Proficient in basic math skills

Compensation:

• This position is hourly rate. This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses.

• The ability to work full time (40 hours per week)
• The ability to frequently use a computer
• The ability to spend 99% of the work hours in the warehouse standing, walking, bending and climbing on ladders
• The ability to lift 50 pounds
